A motor works on the principle of Fleming's Left hand rule. In a motor there is already presence of a magnet and there is a piece of Metal with coil when we supply electricity to the coiled metal it behaves as an electro magnet. At the same time the same poles are face to face of the electromagnet and the already present permanent magnet. We know same poles repel each other so the coiled iron electromagent moves. This is the Fundamental Working principle of a magnet

Explanation:

An electric motor is an electrical machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. Most electric motors operate through the interaction between the motor's magnetic field and electric current in a wire winding to generate force in the form of rotation of a shaft.
