Non - biodegradable are the substance which cannot be converted into simple forms or inorganic form .

e.g plastics ,polythenes etc.

these substances pollute land ,water bodies ,as well as air.

because they remain in same state which makes difficult for plants to get nutrients as well as it cause land degradation which directly affects plants.

  • Non-biodegradable polymer are the polymer which can never be converted into or break down into monomer .
  • And if the polymer remains as it is in environment it can block drains,animals can eat it which can harm them,it can pollute water,etc.
