plants get carbon dioxide from human beings, when they exhale carbon dioxide, and water from atmosphere in the form of rain or by other sources.

when we exhale out carbon dioxide is released and then it is used by the plants.we will get oxygen from the plants .so from us plants take carbon dioxide.they water from the roots when we plant the tree or a plant the water reaches the plant from the roots of that plant.in this way the plant gets water and carbon dioxide.then it uses the water and carbon dioxide for the photo synthesis.
