Sound travels by disturbing air.
When the air molecules are disturbed transfer of energy takes place between the molecule and adjacent one.
This disturbance is accompanied by compression and rarefraction.
Sound waves that is produced by the disturbance of molecules of air are constituted of Amplitude, time period and frequency.
