Arrange two 9 ohm resistors in series.
So,
R1 + R2 = Rˣ = 9 Ω + 9 Ω = 18 Ω.
Now arrange these two resistors arranged in series with R3 in parallel arrangement.
1/Rˣ + 1/R3 = 1 / R-eq
= 1/18 + 1/9
= 1/18 + 2/18
= 3/18
∴ I / R-eq = 3 /18
R-eq = 18/3 = 6Ω.
Hope this helps you !!
