How to 99 square with suitable Identity class 8

Answer:

Split 99 as (100-1)
Square it.
use the following identity: (a-b)²= a² + b² -2ab
Now, 100 square = 10000, 1 square = 1 and 2ab = 200.
Substitute them in the identity.
10000 + 1 - 200 = 9801 and that is your required perfect square number of 99.....
