Well, i've mentioned this before that there aren't any specific genres per se which could guarantee complete inner peace. I think that comes with meditation and other skills.
Most peaceful compositions fall under the category of ambient music, soundscapes, meditation lounge, scores from soundtracks etc. I also suggest you check out this genre called POST ROCK, which might do wonders in terms of MEDITATION FOR MODERN DAY YOUTH.

As a preface to listening to the tracks mentioned below, I suggest you do a little bit of silent sitting, meditating, take long deep breaths on an empty or relatively empty stomach and try listening to them where you can get fresh air(like park, home balcony/terrace etc.) And do close your eyes and observe the sounds and melodies while listening to them.Listen through good quality headphones or listen to it in a place where other surrounding sounds won't disturb you.
