Dear friend, to add water to concentrated Nitric acid and make it dilute, following steps should be followed....
i) Take some water in a beaker.
ii) Slowly pour Concrete Nitric acid to the beaker.
iii) Keep your face at a distance from the beaker as the acid may splash on your face.
iv) Never pour water into Nitric acid as it may splash directly on our body.
