how to balance a equation


chocolates: In a balanced equation the number of atoms of each element is equal on both the sides... to balance an equation count the number of element on each side and equalize them..for ex if no. of oxygen atoms on reactant side is 4 ,then it needs to be 4 on the other side too..write a number to make them equal...

1. Take a skeleton equation or unbalanced equation.
2. Draw boxes around all the chemical formulas
3. Write numbers in front of each of the boxes until the inventory for each element is the same both before and after the reaction

a equation is balanced when number of atoms on either sides are equal...to make an equation balanced equalise the number of atoms of an  element or compound on either side
