Answer:

Question :- How to balance a chemical equation ?

Answer :-

(Hit-and-trail)

1) Write chemical equation

=> Fe +H2O -> Fe3O4 + H2

2) Count the number of atoms of each element on both th sides of chemical equation

3) equalize the number of atoms of elements which has maximum number by putting in front of it

=>Fe + 4H2O -> Fe3O4 + H2

4) Equalize all elements of products and reactants on both sides

=> 3Fe + 4 H2O -> Fe3O4 + 4H2

5) Write the physical state of products and reactants

=> 3Fe (s) + 4H2O (l)

-> Fe3O4 (s) + 4H2(g)
