to balance any eq. firstly, make boxes around the chemical (ex. NaHCO3, SO MAKE A BOX AROUND IT.)
Also be sure that the eq. has 2 parts : reactants and products.
then write the elements on both left and right hand side of the eqs.
then write the required no. in front of the eq..
then count the no. of atoms in each element and then compare the both sides and make sure there r same no. of atoms there...
