A way of studying -- prevalent during the time about some centuries ago, where development of imagination was the main motive of physicists ( the ways are perhaps overlooked at present).

Regarding marks, I would strongly recommend anyone to clear all the concepts of a book with scheduled time and with ample number of sample tests throughout the year before attempting the final exam.

If you have less time left, open the syllabus book and mark all the topics in your own book, thus leaving no topics unread. Believe me, this way of study might provide you with marks but you might not taste the nectar of eternal satisfaction.

Regarding maths, do not show any doubt to your tutor unless you thought about it at least 5 times. Belief me, your thinking ability will definitely increase by this way. This will help you to solve even any uncommon sum during the time of examination.

Study hard..Make timetable... Maintain your time...make a time routine for everyday ,,make daily schedule to complete your studies and after every schedule your cross it..it is a study mark..hope it helps
