First thing that everyone must remember is self determination and hardwork. These two words can help anyone in there work.

Now let's come to main thing i.e. to become topper in class 10. It's not an easy task to come first u should have to do lot to hardwork and also smartwork. Hardwork don't help always. But doing the work smartly will surely help.

And to become topper u must not limited ur knowledge till ur books u should also read others books to increase ur knowledge.
