How to calculate a median in a frequency table?

Add 1 to the total number of frequency then Divide the total number of frequency after adding it by 1 then divide it by 2 the answer will come out for example: 35.5=35,36 then u see where is the 35,36 between the c.f

If frequency(n) is even then median =(n/2 th observation +(n/2+1)th observation) /2 will be your median and if it is odd then (n+1)/2th observation is the median...
