Antilog is easier than log.

Antilog (x) = 10^x

Hence antilog(-4.50) = 10^(-4.5) = 10 ^ (-5 + 0.5) = 10^(-5) * 10 ^(0.5)

now sq.rt. of 10 = 3.1 (approx)

So, without log-table/calculator, we an just say it’s value as approx (3.1)*10^(-5).

Remember the following for quick results:

10^(0.3) =2;

10^(0.48) =3;

10 ^(0.7) =5
