I extracted pigments from a microalgae using 90% acetone. Chlorophyll determination was done spectrophotometrically at absorbances 664nm, 647nm & 630nm. concentration of chlorophyll a, b, c was calculated in mg/L. how do i use the values obtained to calculate percentage chlorophyll a, b, c present in the pigment extract.

HEY MATE
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

✍️ Total chlorophyll b (MG) in original tissue sample =chlorophyll b (mg/ml) *final volume (ml).

✍️ To express on the basis of area, divide the amount of chlorophyll by the area of (mm2) in the simple tissues analyzed.
