How to calculate how much moles in given mass of the solution ? please give one example . don't spam

To calculate moles when mass is given

No. of moles = Given mass / Atomic or molecular mass.


For example ...

No. of moles in CO2 whose weight is 20g

So , no. of moles = 20 / 44 = 0.454 moles.


( 44 is the molecular mass of CO2)
