How to calculate hybridization of all elements?

firstly u have to complete it's ground state then the excited state in which we fullfill the empty orbital by exciting them
then we get it's hybridized state which is calculated as per the filled orbitals

in a compound we can find hybridisation of any one element at a time.....
so to find the hybridization of any one element in a compound.....calculate the number of bond pair and number of lone pair.....and add it...
summation will be the number of hybrid orbitals....like for 2 it is sp ,for 3 it is sp² ,etc ...
