for example CO² in this u hve to see n the valenced electrons of carbon and oxygen, in oxygen there are 6 valenced electrons and 2 neede to complete the valanced shell so it -2 and there are 2 oxygen atoms, so mutiply with two 2×-2=-4. like this u can calculate the valanced electrons
