HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:-

To calculate the percentage increase:

First: work out the difference (increase) between the two numbers you are comparing.

Increase = New Number - Original Number.

Then: divide the increase by the original number and multiply the answer by 100.

% increase = Increase ÷ Original Number × 100.

HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU PLEASE MARK IT AS BRAINLIST AND GIVE THANKS TOO.

if you are given a certain value and the total value then at first take the ratio of the given value and the total value and then multiply it by 100 so that you will get the percentage of that particular value which is present in the total value.

Example

if you want to calculate percentage of 'a' in '2a'then the required percentage will be a/2a x 100 =1/2 x 100=50%
