How to calculate weight of person having mass 40kg

Hello Mate,

Here is your answer,

Weight = mass x acceleration due to gravity

Weight = mass x acceleration due to gravity(W = mg)

Given mass = 40kg

Let g = 10 m/s^2

W = mg

W = 40 x 10

W = 400 N

Mass of a person = 40kg

To Find:-

Weight of a Person

Solution:-

We know that,

Weight (W) = Mass (m) × Acceleration due to gravity (g)

So,

g = 9.8m/s^2

m = 40kg

Hence,

Weight (W) = 40 × 9.8 = 4×98 = 392 N
