To change the state of matter from liquid to gas, the pressure should be decreased and temperature should be increased (heating). In other words liquid can be changed into gas by heating and by decrease in pressure exerted.
For example : when water is boiled , there is a rise in temperature and a decrease in atmospheric pressure, because of which water boils and changes into gas.

Boiling point:

Boiling point:The temperature at which a liquid starts boiling at the atmospheric pressure is known as its boiling point. Water boils at 1000C. That means at that temperature, it changes from the liquid state to the gaseous state.
