How to compare bond energies of species with same bond order?

Hi!

For the same molecule, when bond order increases, bond length decreases and so bond strength also increases. As bond strength increases, it needs more energy to break the bond,i.e., bond energy also increases. Thus, we can say that with the increase in bond order of an molecule, its bond energy also increases.
