This angle cannot be constructed....however an angle very close to this angle I.e 165° can be constructed. Steps. Construct 120° and 180° Bisect these angles.(150°) Now bisect 150° and 180° (165°)

figure shows angle of 160° drawn by compass.

sadly, we can't construct 160° degree angle with a compass , only we can draw angle of multiple of 15. I.e., 15°, 30°, 45°, 90°, ..... . but for 80°, 140°, 160° .... are not divisible by 15° so we can't draw it accurately with help of compass that's why we have protector.

well we can construct nearest value of 160° with the compass.

just follow the steps :

step 1 : draw a long straight line in your drawing paper.

step 2 : set a definite arc in your compass and draw half circle as shown in figure.

step 3 : using compass, cut two points C and D on semi circle.

step 4 : from point D, cut an arc on E as shown in figure.

step 5 : from point B, cut an arc on E as shown in figure.

step 6 : from point E, cut an arc on F as shown in figure.

step 7 : from point B, cut an arc on F as shown in figure.

step 8 : from Point F, cut an arc on G as shown in figure.

step 9 : from point F, cut an arc on G as shown in figure.

step 10 : now draw the line from G to O.

angle GOA ≈ 160°

cheers ! you have got approximately value of 160°.
