Following are the steps to construct an equilateral triangle of height 4.5 Cm :
1) Firstly, construct a segment AM = 4.5 Cm.
2) On Am, at point M construct a perpendicular XY.
3) Then on AM at point A construct an angle of 30 deg on either side of AM which intersects the perpendicular XY, at B and C.
4 ) Triangle ABC so formed is an equilateral triangle.
