Hi ,

It is given that ,

BA = BC = 4.2 cm ,

CR = AR = 5.6 cm

AC = 6 cm

Steps to construction :

1 ) Draw a line segment BA = 4.2 cm

2 ) Take B and A as centers and 4.2 cm and

6 cm as radii draw two arcs which intersects

at C .

3 ) Take A and C as centers and 5.6 radius

which intersects each other at R .

4 ) join C and A to R .

Required quadrilateral BARC is formed.

I hope this helps you.

Solution:

steps of construction:

Draw line segment AB of length 4.2 cm

Draw an arc of 4.2 cm from point B and an intersecting arc of 6cm from point A,mark that point as C.

Now measure a length of 5.6 cm and draw an arc ,form C draw an intersecting arc of length 5.6 cm,Mark that point R.

join all the remaining points.

Look at the diagram all things will be clear.

hope the information provided by me helps you.
