How to control my self to doing bad habits
Answers
The best way to stop a bad habit is to start building a new, good one.
Building a habit should not be that difficult - if you make the right plan and stick with it.
A good plan will take you where you want to be, and most importantly it will be your main motivator when you slip and feel like quitting, which will happen occasionally.
But to start with it you have to know where you are right now, and where you want to be. Start by doing these three things that will help you succeed.
1. Visualize your success.
This is a very important step. You have to know where you want to go and really think hard of what is it that you really want. What is the habit you're trying to break?
What do you want to accomplish? Why is this so important to you? Visualize your success and how being there is helping you in your life.
Write it down and read it often. This will keep you motivated when you get stuck and feel like quitting.
2. Write a detailed but a realistic action plan.
Plan will get you there. Being prepared and having a clear step-by-step guide of what you want to do will lead you to success.
Take some time to think about your plan and write it down. As you start building your habit, you will see that some things will work and some thing won't, so you can adjust your plan slightly to help you succeed faster and better.
3. Keep reminding yourself why you started.
Every day read what you wrote. Be aware of the steps you've taken so far and the steps you still need to take.
Remind yourself why you started and how wonderful it will be when you accomplish what you only dreamed of doing.
You choose to win. If you tell yourself that you can do it, then you will succeed. Stay positive and trust yourself. No one can do this better than you and only you have the full control over your life. Start today!
Visualize your success. You WILL get there!
And remember, you can do anything you imagine. Keep creating your brilliance!
