#Simple sentence

In simple sentence will have only one subject and one predicate. You can identify the sentence by asking who or what. #

#Compound sentence

In compound sentence there will be two clauses and each clause will have it's own subject and predicate joined by a coordinating conjunction. Example: Beena finished her work and she went to home. Here,"Beena"

is the subject and "finished her work" is the predicate in the first clause whereas, in the second clause "she" is the subject and "went to home" is the predicate and they are joined by a coordinating conjunction i. e. "And".#

#Complex sentence

In complex sentence, there is one independent clause and also an independent clause joined by a subordinating conjunction.

Example: When they sat down, there were many thorns to hurt them.

Here, first clause is a dependent clause and the second clause is an independent clause in which the subordinating conjunction is "when".
