as (x,y,z) is the 3D coordinate rep. of a pt.

and i is the unit vector in direction of x axis, j is the unit vector in direction of y axis and k is the unit vector in direction of z axis


aryakeni4000: also, i(hat)=1 which is |i| (similar for j and k), (hence the hat symbol doesn't matter)
