Promotion: Sales promotion refers to the activity or series of activities conducted for the purpose of  boosting the sales of a product and or service in the short-term. For example: Temporary price reduction

Advertising: This is also a way of marketing a product, this is done through various methods so that the demand for that product or service should increase in the market. This includes creating advertisements for commercial basis.

Coordination: This refers to how we can manage the various ways of sales promotion and advertising.

1- It is important to know the target market, that helps in narrowing the pool and creating effective advertisements or targeting the correct people.

2- The above mentioned is linked to how one should know the correct target market which will help in knowing which medium to choose when delivering message. This is highly important as various mediums are associated with various classes and gender, example includes the use of social media by teenagers and young adults being more than those who are elderly.

3- communication is also the key, effective messages must be delivered, thus creative teams need to know the mindset of their customer base.
