How to determine acidity and basicity of organic compounds?

In simple way ,
Acid = electron difficient compounds
Base = electron rich compounds

Acidity is directly proportional to electron withdrawing group ( - I effect ) . when - l group is attached to a compound it lowers the electron density of the compound . More - l group will be add more will be acidity( because more ability to withdraw electron density ).
Basicity is directly proportional to electron donating group (+ l ) . + l group increase the electron density and make the basic. More + l group is attached more will be basicity.
