1️⃣Zero error:

✔️When zero of main scale doesn't coincides with zero of vernier scale, then the error is said to zero error.

2️⃣When zero of main scale lies towards right side zero of vernier scale without placing any object, then the error is said to be positive zero error and correction is said be negative.

3️⃣When zero of main scale lies towards left side zero of vernier scale without placing any object, then the error is said to be negative zero error and correction is said be positive.

mehelihalder25: so if i have a positive zero error then ill subtract it frm reading nd if a negetive error the i will add it to the reading ?
giri28: if it is positive zero error then subtract the final.value by zero error value
