ANIONIC :

Anionic surfactants work best to remove dirt,clay and some oily stains. it

works following ionization. when anionic surfactants are added to water,it ionize and have negative charge.

Many anionic surfactants can also act as hydrotropes,which

serve to raise the cloud point of nonionic surfactants.

CATIONIC :

Amphoteric surfactants have little utility on their own,but work extremelybwell in enhancing the cleaning effects of both anionic and nonionicsurfactants.

They can serve as coupling agebts,which hold the surfactants,solven inorganic salt components of a formula together.

\sf \red{Catonic \:  surfactants : } \:

Cationic surfactants are essentially quaternary ammonia compounds with positively charged surface-active moieties (e.g. methylbenzethonium, cetylpyridinium, alkyl-dimethyl dichlorobenzene ammonium, dequalinium and phenamylinium chlorides, cetrimonium and cethexonium bromides).

 \sf \red{Anionic  \: surfactants : }

Anionic surfactants are organic substances. When these surfactants are dissolved in water, negatively charged particles, i.e. anions, are created. Their solubility in water is based on the binding of the hydrophilic parts to the water molecules. 'Surfactants' is the official name for surface-active compounds.
