how to do equivalent fraction example 20/40

Hello,
we can say that two or more FRACTIONS are EQUIVALENT to each other when, being written in a different way, they represent the SAME VALUE.

we have:
 \frac{20}{40} 
from which:
 \frac{20}{40}= \frac{20 \times 2}{40 \times 2}  = \frac{40}{80} ;
 \frac{20}{40}= \frac{20 \times 3}{40 \times 3} = \frac{60}{120} ;
 \frac{20}{40}= \frac{20 \times 4}{40 \times 4} = \frac{80}{160} ;


the equivalent fractions are:
\frac{40}{80},\frac{60}{120},\frac{80}{160}
