anotations help a lot so when writing an answer or studying you can look bak on your thoughts and ideas.

if noteing down your teachers or classes then just jot down in a notebook the key things that they have said if they are taking about more than one thing it is helpful to use different colours to make it easier when you come back to look at your notes.
