But how to manage that they all should be equal is harder, since that would mean that they must have the same form and area. In the above frigure we have 4 shapes that are triangles, and the rest which have 5 or 6 sides. I am able to reduce this to 6 shapes, each with 4 sides, and 1 shape in the middle with 3 sides, but that’s all.

I have a feeling there is some way to see how many sides it’s actually possible to create with 3 straight lines and from there see if it’s actually possible to make 7 equal parts, but so far it escapes me.
