Step 1) Draw an line segment of any length.
Step 2) Open compass of radius 1 cm and draw a semicircle, 2 points that lies on line segment name them M and N
Step 3) from M with radius of 1 cm cut an arc on semicircle. Perform step 3 with N.
Step 4) Now their are 2 arcs on semicircle with angle 60° and 120°.
Step 5) Now point compass with radius 1 cm on 2 arc and such that they cut each other.
You will get 90°angle.
