Hloo dear...
Take some equation with which u can get a straight line...
For example... if u take y= 2x +3.. u need to find the co ordinate s for it..by calculating y for x values. the points then can be plotted in a straight line

Hi.
To draw a straight line just remember that you need two points through which the line passes.
now to find those two points the simplest method is to :-
-- put x=0 in the equation of line to get the corresponding value of y.
this is the first required point of the form (0,y)
plot it
-- then similarly put y = 0 and get another point of the form (x,0)
plot it too
join them
thats the required line
if you wanna go concept wise then you can notice that by putting x and y = 0 were actually finding the points of intersection of line with the two coordinate axis.
