step 1- draw a line AB of base 5.5 cm as given.

step 2- at B draw an angle of 30° by compass.(draw 60° and then take an arc from the base and 60° arc the place where it intersects will be 30° angle)

step 3- mark an arc of 5.5cm with your compass. name the arc c. connect b and c.

step 4- join AC. hence the required triangle will be somewhat like in the attachment.
