How to establish vermicompost in our school

Vermicompost. Vermicompost (vermi-compost, vermiculture) is the product of the composting process using various species of worms, usually red wigglers, white worms, and other earthworms, to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast.

To make a vermicompost we have to do the following :-

1. Dug the land about 20cm deep or more.
2. Then take the biodegradable wastes.
3. Fill the land with the wastes and cover the land.

After a month you can see earthworms in the land where the wastes are filled into the land.
