Hey!!!

As promised I'm here to tell you the secret of factorising large numbers

_____________

We have

=> y² - 48y + 432 = 0

Here we have 432 and 48, for learning the art of factoring large numbers you must know the divisible test of numbers upto 24.

Like for 14 , the given number must be divisible by both 7 and 2

Similarly 15 = 3 and 5 both

16 = 2 and 8 both

Now 432 , calculate easily which numbers you'll get when you'll divide the numbers from 1 to 24.

Let's try , find numbers whose either sum or diffrence is 48

=> 432 = 2 x 216 (rejected)

=> 432 = 3 x 144(rejected)

=> 432 = 4 x 108 (rejected)

=> 432 = 6 x 72(rejected)

=> 432 = 5 and 7(not possible)

=> 432 = 8 x 54 (rejected)

=> 432 = 9 x 48 (rejected)

=> 432 = 10 and 11(not possible)

=> 432 = 12 x 36(accepted)

Thus the numbers are 12 and 36 because 12 + 36 = 48

Now we have found the numbers easily.

Practice daily to boost your calculation power

=> y² - 12y - 36y + 432 = 0

=> y(y - 12) - 36(y - 12) = 0

Remember the values in both the brackets will always remain the same so don't calculate the value of the second bracket if you know the value of the first bracket.

=> (y - 12) (y - 36) = 0

Thus y = 12 or y = 36

__________

Hope this helps ✌️

Good Night :-)

here is the answer to your question y^2-48y+432
=y^2+(-48y)+432
=y^2+(-36-12)y+432
=y(y-36)-12(y-36)
=(y-36)(y-12)
