By prime factorisation
Ex : cube root of 64
64 = 2×2×2×2×2×2
= _2×_2×_2_ × _2×_2×_2_
Cube root of 64 = 2×2
= 4

Prime Factorise the number and For 3 same factors, write the factor once,
For example, if you write,
 \sqrt[3]{a}
Let x and y be the Prime Factors of 'a'
So write it as
 \sqrt[3]{x \times x \times x \times y \times y \times y}
Now, since they are in triplets,
For 3 'x', Take out 1 x
and for 3 'y' Take out 1 y.

So its Cube root is
x \times y
