Let linear momentum be p⃗ and position vector be r⃗ .

So we have angular momentum to be p⃗ ×r⃗

So we have Angular momentum as rp sinθ . SI unit of angular momentum is m(kg-m s−1 )

Dimensional formula for angular momentum is

[kg- m2s−1 ] = ML2T−1
