Exponential function: e^x.
Euler's e = 2.718......
It is an irrational number.
e is defined as : Limit as n tends to 0, (1 + x * n)^(1/n)
e can be found also as :
e = 1+ 1 + 1/2! + 1/3! + 1/4! + 1/5! + 1/5! + 1/6! + ......
e^x = 1 + x + x²/2! + x³/3! + .....
It is perhaps not possible to calculate the values of e^x without using a scientific calculator.
But if you are solving an algebraic equation, perhaps you could use logarithms and natural logarithm tables..
