how to find length of a side of triangle when two sides are given

When two sides are given then, find draw the median on any one of the known sides now the square median + square of base of triangle formed = square of the other given side(since it forms a rt <triangle) . In this way find median. Now the square of unknown side = square of median + square of base of the other triangle)

[ note take base of median half of the side on which you draw it bcz median divides side into half]

Krais: Suppose two side are 3 and 4. We draw median on 4 then then median = root 9 +4 = root15.
Krais: Now , other side = root of 4+ 15 = root 19
Krais: Sorry it would be root 13 and root 17 instead of root 15 and root 19
