WE FIND THE LENGTH BY PYTHAGORAS

RADIUS AS A BASE
DISTANCE FROM CENTER (PO) AS HYPOTENUSE
TANGENT AS A PERPENDICULAR

(RADIUS AND TANGENT MAKE 90° ANGLE)

NOW,

Hypotenuse²=Base²+Perpendicular²
Hypotenuse²-Base²=Perpendicular²
13²-5²=Perpendicular²
169-25=Perpendicular²
144=Perpendicular²
Perpendicular=√144
Perpendicular=12cm

LENGTH OF A TANGENT IS 12 CM
