natural numbers from 1 to 100 are in AP with first term 1 last term 100 and common difference 1.
To find the mean first n natural numbers = 1,2,3...,n
Mean = (1+2+3...+n)/n
Mean = [n(n+1)/2]/n
Mean =[n+1]/2
Sp if n=100
Mean = [100+1]/2
=50.5

S = 10021002 (100 + 1), [Using the formula S = n2n2(a + l)]
= 50(101)
= 5050
Mean= sum(1 to 100) / 100
= 5050/100
= 50.5
Therefore mean= 50.5
= 50(101)
= 5050
Mean= sum(1 to 100) / 100
= 5050/100
= 50.5
Therefore mean= 50.5
