So, the calculation of median remains the same as in equal class intervals.
Median is calculated using the following formula -
Median = l₁ = [{(N/2) - C.F.}/f] × i
Here,
l₁ represents the lower limit of the median class.
N represents the sum total of frequency.
C.F. represents cumulative frequency of the class preceding the median class.
f represents the frequency of the median class.
i represents the size of median class interval.
