Lets solve with an example,

Base area = \pi r^2

Volume = \pi r^2 h

Given that,

Base area = 154 cm^2

Volume = 1540 cm^3

Lets solve,

\pi r^2 * h = 1540

154*h = 1540

h = 1540/154

h = 10cm

I hope you understood ^.^

Hey !!

Here is your answer... ⬇⬇⬇

➡ Given :- Volume and Base Area of Cylinder are given.

➡ To find :- Height of Cylinder

➡ Solution :-

As given, Volume of Cylinder = πr^2h

Area of base = πr^2

Base of Cylinder is like circle hence we put formula of area of circle as area of base of Cylinder.

put the value of volume and base area and you will get the height of Cylinder.

✡ For example,

Volume of Cylinder = 1386 cm^2

Area of base = 154 cm^2

To find height,..

volume of Cylinder = 1386
πr^2h = 1386
( πr^2 ) × h = 1386

As we taken πr^2h = 154..
putting value of it we can find height.

154 × h = 1386

h = 1386/154

h = 9 cm

In this way you can find height of Cylinder whose Area of Base and Volume is given.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU....

THANKS ^-^
