calculate the sum of total marks then, divide them and multiple with 100 . taking an example , if you get 30 marks out of 40 in one subject and in second you get 20 marks out of 40 now sum of your marks is 50 out of 80 then,divide them50/80 we get 0.625 then multiple it by 100 we get 62.5%
